So it's official, we are getting a second doggy. Here are the pictures of our new pup:
He is a Chihuahua/Dachshund just like Daisy is. He is the same size as Daisy (he's 7.5 lbs and 6 months old). They don't expect him to get much bigger so he'll be a perfect playmate for Daisy. We found him on Petfinder and based on the searching we did for Daisy it's not often we find a dog so quickly that we like so quickly. His description was as follows:
We are located in SW VA, Carpenter is a 7 1/2 lb. bundle of joy. You can call him a chiweenie or a designer choxi, but he is 100% love with a big dose of puppy play thrown in. At almost 6 months we do not expect him to grow much larger. He definitely needs a playmate for full time play , human or dog because this little guy loves to play from dawn to dusk. He is a snuggler at bedtime, gives kisses and will share a tv snack at night when resting from play. Email his foster mom for more info on him. He has been neutered, is utd on shots and mostly housebroken. He has been spoiled, so he does not do well alone. He will need a companion animal or stay at home pet parent until he is grown. Adoption fee $175.
We have heard that he is nothing but a ball full of energy so I think he's going to give Daisy a run for her money.
His name is Carpenter, but I think we are going to change it. We have decided to not rename him until we get him and see what he is like and what his personality is like. According to his foster mom, he has the strongest personality of any dog she has had. Here is the list of names Liz and I are going to be deciding on:

Flash
Let us know what you think! We are picking him on Memorial Day and we absolutely cannot wait. Should be an exciting month between getting a new dog and have Yelizaveta come to our house for 6 weeks.
Can't think of anything else to tell you about him. Hopefully he's a perfect fit.
